Trying to establish email via POP or IMAP in Outlook/Gmail/Apple Mail

We are having difficulties getting are spectrum domain email to connect with outlook/Gmail/Apple Mail. I've spoked to tech support @ 866-892-4249 and I can access via webmail, but nothing else. I've went through the steps on "How do I configure my email client". I have gotten an error code that says INVALIDCREDENTIALSINTERACTION REQUIRED. Any assistance will be appreciated?
