Apple lightening digital AV adapter (which includes an HDCP chip)
I have the Spectrum app on the Apple IPhone 12 and can watch all the channels. I want to be able to put the picture on a larger screen for viewing. I purchased a Apple Lightening digital AV adapter in order to take the signal from my phone to the larger screen.
I will be watching a program on my phone, when I plug the adapter in the phone, I loose the picture and sound on the TV monitor. I have replaced the HDMI cable - reinstalled the app - rebooted the system but nothing works.
Also, the channel guide on the phone does show up in the tv monitor without issue.
Using the Apple adapter I have - How can I get the picture to show up on the larger monitor?
Does Specturm have software that is interfering with the adapter?

All i can figure is that proprietarily dedicated apps that do support that, do say so. Examples:

Catch-all clearinghouse redistribution apps like DirecTV Stream, Cox Contour, Spectrum TV and Xfinity Stream don't say so and, thus, might not. You could visit the website of any given network that you prefer to watch and is covered by your subscription and see if they have a proprietary stand-alone app and, if so, peruse the features there on their website and/or on the app store and find out if it supports that and then, if so, install it and auth it up with your TV subscription and go from there.
