High Spilt???

My upload speeds are trash and of course Spectrum is the only ISP in my neighborhood that offers gigabit speeds. Is there any word on when this high split upgrade will be completed? These upload speeds are killing me.

    Good morning,

    High Split upgrade completion varies by the area you live. Some cities are already completed, more are in progress with all areas planned to be completed in the next few years. Notices are sent when maintenance is being completed for your area related to these upgrades and when higher speeds are available to you.

    First hit from a Google search, an "5 minute read" article from Feb. 2024:

    "Charter now expects to complete its HFC network upgrades in 2026, rather than by the end of 2025."

    They may still be holding on to the original plan of getting towards 80% in the next year... but there have been weird delays spinning off from getting certifications, the required hardware, snafus with the rural expansions...

    Service industries in general have been running into such snags with projects.
