Why does Roadrunner never work for me?

this is very frustrating. I have so many people to get my emails from Roadrunner. I get theirs now for the last year. I have not been able to get them. I’ve changed my passwords. I’ve changed my description and nothing really works. I have to use another email that I don’t want to use as long as it’s not Roadrunner. I already changed two or three emails to either G-Mail or Yahoo!. Do I have to change them all which would be very difficult to do

should say that I get Rochester roadrunner emails, but my friends don’t get them. I can’t send them they don’t send they say check your settings but my check on Settings is fine. I’ve tried deleting and adding them and that always gets me in trouble so I’m not doing it anymore. I know I can send them via Web, but I don’t wanna send my email going through webmail. I have all my emails listed under my Apple email and I never had a problem until last year and now I am just so frustrated.

    Just curious:

    1. Do you get any bounceback messages from any SMTP server?
    2. If so, what does it say?
    3. Do any such messages queue up in the outbox?
    4. If so, do they have any fault indications?
    5. If so, what is the fault dialog displayed when you hit the fault flag?
    6. What server hostname and port number are you using for outgoing?
    7. Are you using your full email address, as prescribed, rather than just the id. part thereof for the account set-up username?

I do not get any error messages. If I sent a message or email out it forwards me to a box that lists all my SMTP addresses so then I picked the one that relates to the email. I’m sending and I send it and again it stays in my outbox and doesn’t go anywhere. once in a while, something gets through, but it’s very frustrating. I can always go to webmail and send it from there, but I don’t want to do that. I have all my boxes set up in APPLE and they should and used to go and they don’t anymore. I just can’t figure it out and I’m getting tired of not getting my emails sent. I get them as I said, but I don’t necessarily send them out.
