Using hdmi splitter and connecting to another tv

if I put a hdmi splitter on the cable box and run it to another tv will I have 2 TVs with cable or one tv with cable and the second just mirroring what’s on the main tv?

    Good afternoon and welcome @Fhyyfcvb,

    A single receiver would only output a single feed, so if you were able to split the output, it would be the same content for both.
