Constantly loosing connectivity

Ever since I changed plans for internet and received a new modem and router, I loose connectivity every few minutes. I have to restart the router to get a connection back, sometimes it reconnects on it own. This interrupts computer, phone, tv…. all connected devises. Is there a fix for this and is it common for Spectrum?

    Welcome to the Community!

Are you near or being impacted by major storms, or were you in the past week? (i.e. Debby?)

Start by powering off everything and disconnecting everything for a good five minutes. Disconnect any splitters, as they can hurt signal strength. Plug each device back in, waiting for the reconnect one by one, do the router last. Restart all Internet related devices once all the reboots have completed. (Computers, Smart Phones, Mobile Devices, Range Signal Expanders, Smart TV's,). If this does not solve the issue, or it comes back, you will need to call Spectrum to get a tech out to test your signals and drop line. You will need a tech visit if the individual reconnect of devices does not fix this.
