No, don't go to Paramount+'s site. Go to the Spectrum activation site here:

1.) The link above will tell you what to do once you get there. You must register through Spectrum to get free Paramount+ Essentials.

2.) If you have a Spectrum Select Package (Spectrum Select, Spectrum Select Signature, Spectrum Select+, or MILatino)_ already in your level of service, follow the link to log into your account through Spectrum. Use the username and password you currently have to log into your online Spectrum account.

3.) Fill out the registration form to sign up for Paramount+ Essentials and Submit the form.

4.) If you are not a current Spectrum cable TV customer, you will need to contact Spectrum to get a cable TV package of either Spectrum Select Signature (Less Sports Channels- Save $8,00 a month.) or Spectrum Select+ (Additional Sports Channels , $8.00 more) or MI Latino. (Basically Spectrum Select Signature plus Spanish programing.) Call the number at the above link to order a Spectrum CATV package.

5.) When you get your equipment activated just go to the above URL and repeat steps 1-3.

6.) Important- As the above URL indicates, do not go to Paramount+'s website to do this order. Getting Paramount+ through Paramount's site or some other third party does not remove that subscription when you sign up for Paramount + through Spectrum. As said in the instructions If you are currently getting Paramount+ from a company other than Spectrum, you will first have to cancel your order through that company, and than once your final bill has been paid, than sign up through the Spectrum activation link. If you already have Paramount + Essentials through them or another company and you sign up through Spectrum, you are going to get billed $8.00 s month for something that Spectrum is providing for free!

7.) I would also recommend that if you want Showtime for $10.00 a month, order it through your Spectrum cable boxes or authorized Spectrum mobile devices/Spectrum app. or through Spectrum Customer Care. (instead of at Paramount+'s site.) New subs can order Showtime if they need to sign up for a Spectrum Package that includes a Spectrum Select plan. Just tell the CSR that you want to add Showtime to your Spectrum Select plan. Existing subs, can call Spectrum to add Showtime to their account. Don't do it through Paramount+'s website.
