No ESPN+ on Demand

We pay for ESPN+ separately from Spectrum. Suddenly, I can no longer pull up any show that is on demand on ESPN+ if it showed on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN News or ESPNU. I have all these channels in my Spectrum package and have never had a problem pulling up anything on demand on ESPN+ before. In talking to ESPN, they say the block is coming from Spectrum and not them. Spectrum says there is no way they could be blocking anything from a third party app like ESPN+. Anyone else have this problem?

    Welcome to our Community Forums! Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issue with ESPN on Demand, I am happy to help! Your third party app would have no bearing on your Spectrum subscription and vice versa. ESPN would need to look into why their content is unable to play with your subscription with them.

    On what device or devices are you trying to watch ESPN+ On Demand? Is it a recurring problem across all devices or only some? When you say that "You pay for ESPN+ separately from Spectrum," do you mean that you receive ESPN from a third party vendor? ESPN+ through Spectrum requires the Spectrum Select+ Package, is that what you have?

    What is your package level from Spectrum? Spectrum Select+ is the mandated package plan from Spectrum to get ESPN+ through Spectrum. Is the issue only with ESPN+? In other words, all other ESPN channels are fine?

    When did this start?

    Any changes to your account or service levels?

    Any error messages, or just a blank screen?

    Have you rebooted the devices? That would normally be a first step. Do this if you have not already rebooted the devices?

    If the reboot does not work, clear your cookies and cache on your devices. Be aware that this will require you to reenter your user name and password in sites. If you are using the Spectrum app, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app? If you are watching on a Smart TV, soft reset your Smart TV by using the TV remote, (not the Spectrum remote) and hold down the remote's power button until the TV turns off and back on again with the TV brand name showing.
