Any Future Improvements to Remote
Seems to be a pretty week remote and should have more labeled visible buttons to be able to preform favorite channels or last channel or setting up a timer to shutoff.
Just a suggestion.

Greetings @xavierq!
A lot of customers prefer the older remotes. If you like near a Spectrum store, go there and see if they have the Clickr Backlite remote. If they don't have it anymore, you can still get one from Amazon for less than $15. It looks like this:
It should come with programing instructions. But you can set it up at Spectrum's "Programing Your Remote" Page:
(Programing your remote) The Clickr Backlite is the second one down the page:
If you call customer care to order, the problem is you don't know what model they will mail out to you. I have the new World Box (Box without a clock) and our tech gave us the older remote to replace the same model we have. If you have the new box with the new guide, there are also support videos on the new box menu to help you program both the newer and older remotes. I love the Clickr Backlite! It is the best remote!

How does one scroll through favorites when there is no favorites button on the new remote?

Hi Brian,
Welcome! You are referring to the URFC 1160-Spectrum's newest. I can sort of answer this by how to create a Favorites List on this remote by doing the following:
Note: To view Favorites on Spectrum Guide, using your remote, press Guide and then Options. Select Filter Channels > Favorites. Once confirmed, your Guide will show only programming options from your Favorites list.
However, I don't know of a simple "Favorites Button." (for this brand of remote.) Yes, there is an issue what to do if you want to view a channel not in your Favorites List?. Or you have the guide closed and you want to actually navigate by manually tuning to each individual channel? To my knowledge, you can't do that on this remote:
Brian, I would recommend what I mentioned above. If you live near a Spectrum Store, try to get a Clickr Backlite Remote. It is so much better and can be programmed to work with the new boxes and guide. If your local Spectrum Store does not have the Clickr Backlite remote in stock, you can get one from Amazon for less than $15. It looks like this:
The second remote on this page from Spectrum has information on how to program the Clickr Backlite remote.

Hey Satch, does that remote you're linking to work on the Xumo Stream Boxes for those of us with Cloud DVR instead of a set-top box DVR?

Hi Jason,
Welcome! No, it doesn't. That Clickr Backlite remote is for a regular box or standard DVR box. Subs can't combine cloud DVR with regular DVR on the same account. A lot of customers like that remote the best. If you want that remote, you would have to change to regular DVR service.
