Is there *ANY* way to get a dual-band router from Spectrum?
I cannot use the band-steering router. It messes up all of my casting. I need dual-band router which does not cast. I went to Spectrum today, and they gave me a number to call, and the person on the other end of the phone said that Wave 2 router can no longer be shipped. I can't log into any of my apps without Roku's remote or other casting options unless I go one letter at a time. It drives me crazy. And yes, I know about the app which is supposed to transfer devices over to 2.4G. It works maybe 10% of the time and doesn't stay on? Is there ANY solution to this problem?

Ask for Wi-Fi 6 instead of Wi-Fi 6E and see what happens.

Hello @hanshotfirst1138
I'm sorry for the difficulty with the router. All of our current models would be smart routers that do not differentiate between the network bands in the name and automatically move the devices around on the networks. If you would like to have those bands be separately named so you can choose which network they connect to, you would need need to purchase your own router.
