Welcome!
You will need to program your Spectrum remote to control the TV Box On/Off with one simultaneous button called either All Power or System. This code will also control the Volume and Mute buttons for your TV. Here is the list of remotes with instructions on how to program them to work with your TV:
(Programing your remote) Find the model of your remote and instructions on this page.)
Programing the remote with the correct code for your TV, will allow you to turn the TV/box on.off with the All Power or System Button. It will also allow you to use your Spectrum remote to adjust the volume and mute on your TV. There are quick set up modes in the instructions.

Good Morning Spectrum Staff,
The Instructions for programing the Spectrum Guide remote are missing from the above link. To where have they been moved? This is the page that shows instead:

Hi @Satch -
Not sure if you entered a bad link or maybe the page was down temporarily, but it worked for me.

Good Morning James!
Thank you. I can get to the first page where it shows all the remotes like in the link above. But what I can't get to are the specific instructions for "How to Program your Spectrum Guide Remote." (Illustrated in the photo below.) When I click on those instructions, it says "Page Not Found."
Here's the photo to which I am referring:
I apologize for any confusion,
On the first page, where it shows all the remotes, I clicked on instructions for the remote that the tech gave me with the World Box, (and the remote many, myself included, prefer, the Clickr Backlite, and those came up fine. The Spectrum Guide remote instructions come up as "Page Not Found."

Gotcha - my guess is that the page is either being updated or was intentionally removed.
If you go to "More" - then select "Leave Feeback", you can report the issue directly to the web team, in the event it is an error.

The URL of that hyperlink is currently https://www.spectrum.net/support/remote/spectrum-guide-remote, which currently redirects to https://www.spectrum.net/no-content. I take it that when all is said and done, there will be one article with one URL that the hyperlink ultimately goes to.
In the meantime, here is how you may be able to get to the two current rather redundant articles:
Edit: 🔗 https://www.spectrum.net/search-results?k=Spectrum%20Remote : in the search results, hit Spectrum Guide Remote Control for Article 113846, and then turn around hit Spectrum Remote Control: SR-002 in the search results for Article 133286.

n the meantime, here are the two current rather redundant articles:
🔗 (Article 133286)
🔗 (Article 113846)
Those both lead to "No Content." I did as @James_M suggested and reported the missing link about the Spectrum remote control functionality link missing to the web team. I agree with @HT_Greenfield, I suspect that the web team is updating that portion of the site
