I don't lose wifi for long periods of time. Instead I lose it for numerous short periods of time when watching tv.

    Welcome,

The first step is always to cold reboot everything by doing the following:

1.) Power off everything TV, Internet devices, (PC's) including modem and router for about five minutes. (Or turn off surge protector.)

2.) Disconnect your modem and router by unplugging that

3.) Unplug your cable box or streaming device.

4.) Wait for one minute. First plug in your modem and wait for the lights to come back online.

5.) Next plug in your router and wait for that to come back online.

6.) When both are back online reboot your PC's and devices.

7.) Plug your TV back in or turn on your surge protector.

8.) Wait for your cable box or streaming device to boot back up

9.) If you have a smart TV, hold down the power button to your Smart TV remote, til the screen turns off and the name of the TV comes back on the screen. Release the button.

10.) If Internet issues come back within hours to days, replay back, indicating you have done the above steps, this would indicate that a service call would be needed to dispatch a tech to check your signals and drop line.
