Repeated XSTLP-4001 Errors
Hi. I receive an XSTLP-4001 error message at least daily, sometimes multiple times in a day. Restarting my modem router corrects the problem. Is this due to a problem with the input from Spectrum or a problem with my modem router? Thanks.

Cable goes to my modem router, which provides wireless to my Xumo. The Xumo provides the tv stream. Make sense?

Thank you! Do you use the Spectrum TV app on any other device like a Roku, smartphone, tablet, or on our website on the computer? If so do you see the issues there too?

I have the Spectrum app on other devices. The problem is not with the app. Instead, it’s with my TV or Xumo. In a regular basis, the picture freezes and I see a circle with three dots in the center of the screen. Eventually, the screen goes blank and shows the xstlp-4001 error message. After this, the only way to get the picture back is to reboot the modem router.

Okay so the error happens no matter the app you use on the Xumo or only when you use the Spectrum TV app?

I’m usually not using any app at all. I’m watching the TV and using the remote that came with the Xumo unit. I’m losing the Spectrum stream feed, which then generates the error message that the channel is not available. My question is whether this is a problem with something at Spectrum causing me to lose the streaming signal or is this more likely a problem with my modem router.
