in Spectrum TV App Feedback - XUMO

Will the Spectrum TV app be updated soon to provide more than just stereo sound and stream surround sound like the traditional cable box?

    There are currently no announced plans to add surround sound to the TV app, but we will pass along your suggestion for future consideration.

    Thank you for passing the consideration along. It may have made more sense not to support it pre-Xumo, but that device changes things. Xumo is now the approach for delivering linear TV service from Spectrum for new customers like me, and my experience is being limited by the app. Xumo can and does deliver surround sound using the other apps installed as an "all you can stream device", but it is hobbled by the Spectrum app and cannot deliver my TV service from Spectrum with surround sound.
