Spectrum On Demand audio out of sync when streaming through ROKU device

Have been experiencing an audio lag whenever I watch a show on Spectrum On Demand for a few years now….I stream Spectrum via my ROKU TV and whenever we watch a show On Demand, the audio and video are in sync until the first round of commercials, then the lag becomes noticeable gets worse. We tried updating the software on both ROKU and deleting and re-adding the Spectrum app without any improvement….even changed the Spectrum provided modem and tried a different router…..as stated in prior threads, if we switch to the "old" cable box the problem goes away so it appears to be a programming conflict between Spectrum and ROKU…..after two years now, why hasn't this issue been resolved?

Sorry for any issues with the app. I was able to locate your account using your registration information. It looks like the modem has been online for 70 days. Restarting the modem is a good place to start, since the app communicates through the modem. You may also need to RESET the Roku from the settings menu. This clears the cache and settings and usually resolves most playback issues. Last, if the issue continues, you may want to consider a service call, since there are some minor signal issue identified.

Thanks for the quick response....yes I have rebooted my modem several times in the past two years as well as resetting my Roku Tv without any improvement. Same results....am in sync at first until the first round of commercials.

Then you probably want to schedule a service call at your earliest convenience. There are some signal issues that may be interfering and causing the playback issues.
