Spectrum email closing
I keep getting these emails saying my email isn’t connected to my spectrum account and will be deleted on 10/16. It said if I wish to continue using it I must add spectrum internet which I have.
I use my rr email daily. The ‘from’ email looks legit because I googled it. Myaccount@spectrumemails.com
I’m wondering if anyone else has received or maybe something isn’t connected because my email is a roadrunner email.
But I reached out via text after the first email I receieved a few weeks ago and the person on chat said it was spam.
can anyone confirm this?
Julie

Hello @Simmerdown47;
Welcome to the Community Forums. We have been sending emails to customers about email accounts that are not properly assigned to a billing account that need to be assigned to an account to ensure they are stay active. The instructions in the email will refer you to our website www.spectrum.net to address the issue. You can send us a screenshot of the message and we can confirm if the email is the one from us.

My husband has been receiving the same emails. I followed the instructions in the email to add him and his rr.com email to my spectrum internet account. He has, however, still received these emails after I did that. He also uses this email daily. Is there a way to make sure what I did worked? We really don’t want him to lose this account.

@nielss66 : If the instructions involved setting him up as an additional person on the account and you did so, i'd have him log on to the account at www.spectrum.net with his own credentials and see if he has his very own Check Email hyperlink in the left column of the Home page and if the settings thereof show his rr.com email address and, if so, once he's done that, maybe that'll close the deal and he'll stop getting the heads-up email messages. Otherwise who knows.
