error code SML-1001 on spectrum tv app on a samsung tv??

I can find no information online  nor can spectrum tll me what this means

    The SML-1001 error is a general error code.  It means that there was error starting or retrieving the video session.  It can be caused by various issues including an outage with the app, an Internet connection issue or being away from your home network.  Usually, deleting and reinstalling the app as well as restarting the modem will resolve most issues.
