Recently, why have some web sites have become unusable?
When I try to use U.S. Phonebook, I get a message, "Access denied." and with MapQuest, the area where address are added is grayed out with the message, "Couldn't find you. Try again."
These sites were working for me just last week. I tried clearing the cache and these site's cookies, but that didn't help.

Sorry to hear that you're unable to access some websites, I'm happy to help! What browser are you currently using? Is this happening across all devices?

I have Firefox 115.19.0 esr (64-bit). I don't know about ALL devices. I only have a desktop computer.

Are you currently wired or wireless? When were you last able to successfully access the website?

Wired.
I don't know the exact date I was last able to use these sites, but it was recently.

I do see here that you have our wireless service. Can you try accessing one of the websites from your mobile device to see if you have the same issue?

I don't have any mobile devices.

Ok, could we try another browser then to test/compare if there's any difference in behavior when trying another?

If you have a recent Windows PC (2015 forward), it came with the Microsoft Edge Browser which is based on the Chromium Project . Same for Google Chrome, Opera, Brave and many other browsers. So you can test with one of those. Also try those browsers in Incognito or Private Mode. You can also try disabling all browser extensions and retest in both "Normal" and using Incognito Mode. This will take a little experimentation so take notes on what you try.
BTW, Firefox is not based on Chromium. Before trying another browser, you probably should try using it with all Extensions disabled in both Normal and Private mode.

My system is very old in electronic terms. I don't think any other browsers are supported except Firefox extended support.
