I deserve compensation for an internet outage (17 hours) in Honolulu on 7/12. On 7/12 Spectrum had no service (TV, internet, telephone) all day long (17 hours) in my area.  My business depends on internet. I had no choice but to pay for a prepaid hotspot service (T-moible).  It was $40.  I deserved compensation so I called Spectrum. The customer representative said: A credit will be applied to your account due to length of your recent service outage. This will appear on your next billing statement. He did not know how much.  Guess how much I got. Only $2.98 !!! I got this small amount because I called them. If I had not called I would not have gotten anything.  If I send Spectrum the receipt for the prepaid hotspot service would Spectrum compensate?
