Spectrum throttle internet speeds?

Does Spectrum throttle internet speeds? I subscribe to 1gig Mb of internet speed. When I do a speed test, I mostly get 1/2 to 1/4 the speed I pay for. If I reboot the modem, it does not make a difference. If I call customer service, the tech will reboot from his end, the speed comes back up at least for a while, and days later, the same thing happens. So what's up with that

    Welcome to our community! I'm sorry to hear about the speed issues you're experiencing. We do not throttle our speeds, but there can be a lot of causes of slow speeds. Are you primarily using a wired, wireless, or a combination of both connection wise?
