Is the Spectrum TV App available on Android TV? ANSWERED and updated February 2023

I have a Sony smart TV with Android 7.0 built-in. The current Spectrum TV app for Android is not compatible with Android TV. Is Spectrum planning to update the app so that it runs on Android TV? Thanks

Currently, the Spectrum TV App is available exclusively on Samsung Smart TV and Apple TV's.

To use the app on an Android TV, you would need use a third party device that is supported by the app, including a ROKU or Apple TV.
