New Recordings Don't Show Automatically In My Libray

Can recordings update automatically in My Library? You have to do View DVR for them to show.

Good evening. The My Library section functions as a recently watched, Favorite Channel List, and Watchlist. The DVR section holds what was recorded. It's unlikely the My Library will be made to function to update automatically with the DVR information.

@James_L Just a comment….the Recordings section in My Library updates automatically for Roku and it seems like it should work the same for the Xumo instead of having to choose View DVR to see new recordings.

I have feedback observations to discuss about My Library and On Demand on the Spectrum Guide Boxes.
My observation is that when you are watching any On Demand content, It can take about twenty minutes for My Library to recognize the content as "Recently Watched." It definitely will not be recognized for a while if you are watching On Demand Programing.
This is important to note because if you are watching On Demand on a Spectrum Guide box and you hit the guide button, you are kicked out of your On Demand content and back to Live TV. You have to rely on the assumption that My Library has saved your position in the programing to go back to the content. If you performed this function without letting twenty minutes go by, it likely will not "hold your place." You have to literally go back to your On Demand Program and you might have to start from the beginning. This is often true if the station has enabled commercials for the content. The older ODN software had an "In Progress" prompt that was far more accommodating to On Demand Content than "My Library" concerning On Demand Content.
The difference is that "My Library" manages many things consolidated into one setting. "Recently Watched" "Favorites" "On Demand Progress" "Title Suggestions" based on viewed shows. The older software on ODN had an "In Progress Bar" and while it wasn't perfect, it did one thing, managed how far along users were in On Demand Shows.
The confusion stems from a lot of customers thinking that On Demand functions as a channel. On the new cloud DVR boxes, it's not a channel. The On Demand Numbers in the guide actually take you to a "Menu Overlay Screen." that overrides the regular channel. This is why you often have to press exit to get out of On Demand Menu navigation.
Satch
PS. Users must use the DVR List or List buttons on their remotes to go to DVR Management for information about individual DVR records and series. The DVR list updates all the time.

The point that I'm making is that you don't have to do View DVR on the Roku to show new recordings and couldn't that be applied to the Xumo?
