Trouble activating Peacock Premium account

I activated my Peacock premium account through Spectrum, but when I log into the Peacock app, it says I'm not subscribed. If I log onto Spectrum, it says I am subscribed to Peacock premium, but when I click on the link to watch Premium on Demand, it sends me to my Peacock account where it appears I am not subscribed. How do I fix this?

Good evening @TH99 and Welcome to our Community Forums,
Thank you for reaching out to us about activating our Peacock App. I am sorry that you are experiencing a concern setting it up. By chance did you set up your Peacock account yet? In order to begin using the App, you will first need to create the account with the Peacock App. -Lyn

My situation connecting to peacock is the same as TH99. I activated peacock through spectrum, was then directed to Peacock. I set up an account which continues to say I am not subscribed. I have spent a significant amount of time trying to fix this including talking to spectrum 2-3 times repeating the same processs… emailing w Peacock who basically said they don't know what to do and offered me a code to use for a year, ( but I need to provide a credit card in order to do this. Very frustrating One question I have is could it be related to the spectrum "sign in" which shows an email of ……spectrum.net rather than comcast.net. Would that affect the connection to peacock?

Quick question to clarify, did you have an existing Peacock account prior to registering? Did you create a new account using your spectrum credentials or email prior to attempting to sign in?
The email domain (ie. comcast.net) will not make a difference, as long as there was not a previous, current or expired subscription associated with the email. In these case, you will need to use a new email.

I am having the exact same issue described above. I have a Spectrum Gold account and received a text from Spectrum providing me a link to activate my Peacock app. The link has a simple button that says "Start Streaming." Nothing could be further from the truth. That link takes you to the Peacock site that has a regular sign in button on the top left, but for the Spectrum customer it asks you to sign in with a user ID and PW in the bottom center of the page. In online instructions that I Googled, it tells you to use your Spectrum LOGIN and PW. This fails every time. It says it doesn't recognize the User ID or PW. Spectrum tech support had me change my Spectrum PW to see if that worked, but, as I suspected, it did not. If you go to Peacock to establish a separate account with them, they require a credit card and I refuse to give that info out to a third party for a service that I should be getting from Spectrum.
I suspect this new offer was not fully worked out between the tech folks of the two companies or their respective billing offices. As it stands now, it appears to be an offer that is unusable. Very frustrating.

Hello @Stelr
I apologize for the confusion, I know that setting up the Peacock streaming can be a little tricky if you do it through their site. The easiest way is to sign in to your Spectrum account on our website and then click the Manage TV/Streaming option from the boxes near the top. If you scroll down, you'll see the Peacock option and clicking that will take you to the correct spot. You will just need to click the "start streaming" button on that page and then it will lead you to enter your Peacock account information and link the two accounts.

Not sure I was clear on my initial comment. To clarify, I do not have a Peacock account and have no intent to set one up as they require credit card information.
I need to know how to activate my Peacock app through Spectrum. as advertised. The instructions previously provided do not work. I did discuss this with Spectrum tech support last night and was informed there is currently a problem, but they are working on it.

Hi Everyone- I finally resolved my issue, so wanted to post my fix here in case it helps anyone. I already had a basic Peacock account prior to Spectrum giving us premium accounts. When I activated Peacock Premium through the Spectrum link, I logged in to Peacock with my original Peacock email/password. That was the problem. What worked for me was to try activating again and this time I used my Spectrum email address as my Peacock login. I had to create a new password for Peacock. Creating that new account worked.

When you login to spectrum.net then go to Services and then select TV/Streaming, do you see Peacock as an option, similar to below? If you do not, then screenshots would be helpful.
The Peacock subscription through Spectrum does not require a credit card. If you are being asked for a credit card, then you are likely in the Peacock website and trying to complete a separate subscription or you did not navigate through spectrum.net

1.I had a Peacock premium account which I canceled in order to go through Spectrum’s new free offer through their plan update. 2. I entered My Spectrum app to activate the new Spectrum streaming services. I was able to activate everything BUT Peacock. I tried to “sign up” but received message that I already had an account per my email address. So I tapped “sign in” to access my account. I received new message of Sorry, there is a problem, try again. Well, I have been wasting ridiculous amount of time the past 2 weeks trying. 3. I have contacted Spectrum support and was referred back to the original screen to Start Streaming. I contacted Peacock support and paid $5 on my card for tech advice and updated my credit card info through Roku as recommended. (I do not pay for Roku; I have Roku both built in and Ultra.) 4. I changed a few passwords as recommended, also! 5. None of these solutions worked. I have been in a maddening loop of baloney. What is the deal with signing into Peacock? I have deleted the app again since I keep getting the Sorry and There is a problem messages!

Been having the same issues as everyone here. The peacock app wants me to purchase a subscription even though I’m logged in through the email I supposedly linked my spectrum account through. Spectrum customer service had me create new peacock accounts to try to link my spectrum account through the “start streaming” button on the my service tab but didn’t work of course. After 2 hours of chatting with them jumping through the same hoops I gave up. Can someone let me know when spectrum/peacock solves their linking issue.

Are you logging in to your Spectrum online account first and then following the link?

I am signed in and following the link.
I hadn’t used that additional link you provided. When I use the additional link you provided and start now under Peacock it lets me log in with my spectrum account but the next page wanting me to verify my log in will not. I’m not receiving the verification text or calls to the xxxxxxxx(last two digits is my correct phone number) or email to my correct email address. Is this working for you through this link?0 -
Thanks. I was able to locate your account using you registration information. Your ad-supported free Peacock subscription through Spectrum has been successfully activated, so on our end everything is working.
Is it possible the number is either being blocked or was entered incorrectly?

Is it possible for you to deactivate my subscription through spectrum on your end so I can attempt to reactivate it?
Spectrums 5 digit text number to me is not blocked and I’m not entering anything incorrectly because it’s my phone number on my spectrum account. Also it’s not sending it to my email either.0 -
