Does an Apple TV 4K 128 Gig solve the problem?

I spent an hour on phone with Tech Support at Spectrum on this issue. We tested everything! The grey timeline at the bottom does not come from Spectrum but from Apple TV. They could not see it when they mirrored my TV. And what I've found is that when the timeline, while using Spectrum, is missing, at the bottom of the screen, a to or from date I cannot back up or escape. It locks up. Also, Spectrum or Apple TV seems to store escapes and then uses them a few minutes later. This whole issue is getting old. Thanks

    Good morning @larryminer. Welcome to our community. We are sorry that you are having this issue with Apple TV. Have your tried this

    • Pull down the settings menu from the top and wait for about 15 seconds.
    • Use the ⏯ Play/Pause button on the Apple TV remote.
    • Check if the “use Play History” feature is enabled and use the same account.
    • Make sure your Apple TV app is up to date.
