Balance Buy Out Program

Has anyone else had problems with this? I had to pay out the balance on all my phones to transfer to Spectrum. I had to pay over $1000. I got a debit card equal to what I paid. The website says the card should work anywhere that accepts Visa. It does not work most places. Tried: online purchases, Auto zone, school camp payment, Arco, Trader Joes. I have the money but can't use it. Called the Spectrum. They tell me to contact the company that sends the cards. The company that sends out the cards repeated over and over that it is accepted most places that take visa. Website says "Accepted at locations everywhere Debit Mastercard and Visa debit cards are accepted." I am out the $ and can't use this card to help pay for anything!

Prepaid debit cards are not credit cards and thus presumably have nothing to do with "credit rating" post issuance. The only potential catches i can think of at this point have only to do with online transactions:
- The online merchant may need to support CVV (Card Verification Value) entry in order to support payment via prepaid Visa Reward card
- The billing address of the online account may need to match that of the card registration which presumably would in turn be that of the Spectrum Mobile account

Hello,
I don't think this is a Spectrum problem. The issue could be a bad credit rating, the credit card company, or bank issues.
