Recently, Spectrum TV App for Apple devices will not retain FAVORITES

Each time I set Favorites, they are completely cleared the next time I use the application. This started happening about 2 weeks ago (last week of May 2025). I have restarted both my iPad and AppleTV+ and that doesn’t resolve the issue.

Janessa, thank you for your quick response. Yes, my Favorites are saved and present when I use watch.spectrum.net. However, the Favorites are not reflected when using the apps on my iPad or AppleTV plus. I restarted both devices before I checked.

Will you please try reinstalling the app on your iPad and AppleTV?

I’m sorry I didn’t mention it earlier. I have tried reinstalling on both devices multiple times.

Sorry for the delayed response here, thanks for confirming you've done that already! I was able to locate your account and I see the app is reporting errors that could definitely explain these symptoms. Many of the errors are related to problems with connectivity, your modem is showing healthy signal strength but an up time of 43 days. Will you please try rebooting it by removing the power cord for 30 seconds, then wait for the online light to come on solid before rebooting your router the same way?

I rebooted both the modem and router per your instructions. I also restarted my iPad and AppleTV+. The Spectrum TV app still loses the favorites as soon as I quit the apps and reopen them. I opened watch.spectrum.net and all my favorites, set before these issues started, and they are all present. I even used the Spectrum TV app on my iPhone, using cellular data only (bypassing my Spectrum modem) and the same thing happened, the favorites disappeared after I quit and reopened the app. Seems to be a bug…

With the app on the iPhone as far as i'm concerned:
- Favorites list in the Home page continues to reflect past and recent favorites.
- Favorites in Live TV/Guide page, e.g. Favorites filter and 🩶 symbol, do not reflect past favorites at all and will only reflect recent favorites for as long as the app remains fully loaded in memory.
- Not only with version 9.41 of the app but also now with version 9.42 which was apparently released yesterday.

Just one of those little third-party hardware hiccups:
In being involved with CATV for forty years, I strongly recommend the use of the hardware rented by the provider. With Spectrum, that means either get a traditional CATV box, or a traditional DVR, or if streaming is your thing a XUMO streaming box. You will have full functionality of all features and menus, and if there is an issue, it is covered by Spectrum.
Keep your Spectrum equipment all Spectrum.

To be clear, i submitted the feedback above because i'm afraid that the idiosyncrasy i cited in "2." is a bug with the app rather than any "hardware hiccups."

I noticed that the Spectrum TV app for Apple TV+ has been updated to Version 3.25 (4.185924016), Build Date 6/11/2025. The new build DOES NOT resolve my issue with Favorites not being retained. I rebooted the Apple TV+ as part of my testing.
