Programing Data on Spectrum Guide Has Been an Hour Ahead Since this Morning (June, 20, 2025)

Guys,
Have not rebooted yet, but the guide time data on my Spectrum Guide cable box has been an hour ahead from the actual time since this morning. (Location Brookfield, Wisconsin. Zip 53045) date is June 20, 2025. I want to see if others have this problem in my area before doing anything.

Update,
Our friend in the same zip code as us is also having problems with her box showing guide data one hour ahead. Box is showing EST guide data instead of CST guide data for Brookfield,Wisconsin 53045.

Same here… 53220… DVR recordings are all off because of this
Very dissatisfied for the price I'm paying for Spectrum. I expect better.
Rebooting does not help. All guides on the 3 separate tv's are off the same

In my area,
This was fixed for Brookfield this morning. (53045) There was a message on the answering machine saying they are working on this in other areas. Just searching online, the Eastern Time Guide data glitch is expanded to other areas of Wisconsin. Not just Brookfield.

Hey @Satch, sorry for the trouble with the guide but great to see it was fixed already!
Welcome to our community @MJS_53220! Was this fixed for you as well or are you still having trouble?

June 23, 2025 Guide Data Showing EST in Wisconsin- Update
I rebooted the box.
On the Interactive program guide (Spectrum Guide) sometimes it shows the right CST time. Other times, it's an hour ahead EST The clocks affected are the Guide Time Cell Clock and the Keyboard Screen Clock. I would say that the time is wrong about 70% of the time and right about 30% of the time. Previously, it was wrong all the time.
Interestingly enough, the Channel Banner on the guide shows the correct time. The Info button when finding out more information about a show also gives the correct time. (53045.)

Hi @Dhunter2, welcome! Sorry to see you're having this issue as well. I haven't been alerted of a known problem but with multiple people having this specific issue it does seem likely somethings wrong on our side.
It's unusual that a problem like this is intermittent. I've been unable to recreate the issue from my end but it might be I'm just trying at the wrong time. @Satch are you able to notice any kind of pattern? If you open and close the guide it's just sometimes different, or there are periods of time where it is always right and others where it is always wrong? Do you have DVR this is impacting also?1 -
Hello @William_M,
This was fixed (for now) several days ago and is holding. Interesting background. We had a voicemail message back when I wrote the original message on or about the 21st. As well as an email notification about a power outage that day, and than another message that power was restored. Thing is, we have a whole house generator so if power is lost, that comes on within seconds and you don't even notice that the power was out.
At the time on or about the 21st the guide time grid would be off, ahead by an hour and that was on the 23rd I can't remember if the info data and keyboard clock were out of sync or not. Than it was either the 22nd or 23rd when the clock seemed correct during the day, but during Spectrum's overnight maintenance Window that was when the following would happen:
Spectrum Guide Box
Time Grid sometimes right but often wrong (At percentages indicated above.)
Keyboard clock always wrong
Channel Banner clock right
Info button c;lock right
I just figured that maintenance was working on it, because the next day, (the 25th) everything was back to normal.) I know that people outside of our node in Wisconsin were affected by this. My guess could be that the "power outage" somehow killed syncing with the time clock server, because many people's time grids were off by an hour during this time. I don't think it was a messed up software update. I have read extremely rare cases in our Community about the Guide Time Grid's not being synced. However, I have not heard of multiple people affected at the same time.
I do not know if different model boxes or DVR's were effected. I don't have a XUMO box so don't know if that was affected. I can't say my DVR was affected because I don't remember watching DVR during those affected days or hours. But two different customers in this thread said that there were issues, as well as my relative. This was from June 21-23. As of today, June 27, everything is fine.
