Emergency Broadcast Alert
I'm using version 3.30 on tvOS 18.6.
I live in Texas and over the past few days I've been getting child abduction alert pop ups when watching live tv. When I click OK to dismiss the alert, it will immediately pop back up. I counted 19 times this last time of me hitting OK before it finally stayed gone. Restarting my Apple TV and force closing the Spectrum app have not helped.

It's good to find out that emergency broadcast alerts can be received via the Spectrum TV app on the Apple TV platform!
Just curious if you could confirm that you are waiting until after you hear the same raucous audible tone sequence at the end of the broadcast that you hear at the beginning before you try to dismiss the alert with the OK function.

Hey @PontiacBandit, this is a known issue on our side which our engineers are already working to fix. I'd recommend trying to reboot again, this is helping for most. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Just came here to report the same, good to hear they are working on this. Hopefully the fix will include a non-modal alert. Forcing an action to continue is rude and unnecessary. Just play the EAM and move on like it has always been in the past. Or, give us the option to silence them completely. Every device in my house lights up when they send one, I don't kneed more. Also, the "authorities" risk losing the efficacy of these emergency alerts if they use it unnecessarily.
