Lifeline Program in Texas
So, on the Spectrum website it says that Spectrum does participate in the Lifeline Program and provides a link to the Texas Commission of (something or another). So, I follow this link to fill out required information and the last page it states,
" Please pick your provider out from the list below. You MUST have an account with a provider on this list in order to apply for Lifeline in Texas."
Well. Spectrum is no where on the list,(trust me I really looked) and therefore I can't finish my application and move forward. But again on the Spectrum app under support topics it's states that they do participate in the program in the state of Texas.
I most definitely am approved for Lifeline and I currently have an account with Spectrum....but the fact that Spectrum is not registered on the list of providers in Texas has me jammed up
Can anyone kindly help me get over this hurdle? Thank you in advance.

Good morning & welcome @2lostsouls,
For the state of Texas, you may qualify for a discount on internet or internet and home phone. You must be within an area that qualified for service buildout through the federal Rural Digital Opportunity Fund, or RDOF. Your location doesn't appear to be part of that program. You can contact the Texas Low-Income discount administrator with any questions by calling 1-866-454-8387 or you may visit http://www.puc.state.tx.us/consumer/lowincome/Solix.aspx.0
