Setting up remote to tv

I have a new insignia firetruck that I bought. Have a hardwired pairing the spectrum remote to the new tv. All the codes listed don't work. Power button, volume controls don't work

    Thank you for reaching out to us about programming your new TV to work with our remote control. I am sorry that the pre-defined codes do not work. There is a generic way to program the remote to your TV if those codes do not work. To learn more please visit our programing your remote link. If the generic way does not work, I would try to swap the batteries in the remote out and then try both options again. If the batteries are low sometimes the remote will not allow programming to be completed. Please let us know if these suggestions to do help out. - Lyn
