The time on my tv is correct but the Spectrum app guide is showing 4 hours ahead. This happened before and got corrected. Not sure how. Unplugging the tv and waiting a minute and plugging it back in does not correct the problem.

Hello and welcome to the Spectrum Community!

I do apologize for the issues with our TV app. Do you notice the issue using any other device like a smartphone, tablet, Roku, or on the website here?

If you only see the issue on the TV can you try to uninstall the app and reinstall it? If it is showing on more than one device can you try to reset the internet modem by unplugging the power cord and screw in coax cord for 30 seconds then plug it back in?

I have the same issue. I've talked to spectrum support, and Vizio, neither one had an answer for the time that shows being 4 hours ahead of the real time. The TV is new, and the issue was there from the first use of the app on the new TV. The time on the TV is correct.
I can't uninstall the Spectrum app on the Vizio TV, only remove it from the home screen which does no good.
I have the app on 3 different devices in the same house and all of the times are fine on them.

@tzingsheim : I'd double-check the time zone (and daylight) settings on the TV. Jog it back and forth if needs be and see what happens. If it was incorrect, then i'd double-check that on the router too, for good measure.

We tried everything, with Vizio, and Spectrum.
I did all the things they told me to do before they even told me to do it.
The whole thing was goofy because it's a brand new TV.
I'm a computer tech so I know my way around this stuff.
The time is correct on the TV, on the app it's 5 hours ahead with no way to adjust the apps time.
Spectrum, told me to wait for an update to the app, and Vizio, said to try and reset the the TV to factory.
If I feel ambitious, at some point I'll reset the The TV.
I'll just have to install all the apps I have, and resign into them.
    Thanks for your reply though

Have you attempted to power cycle your modem and wireless router? Because the video content is streaming to your television via internet connectivity, a reboot of this equipment may refresh the connection.
