Change password by 11/11/25 on the "admin" account too?

  1. What happens if I change the password on my "main" email account - the "master "or the "admin" one? Do we change that one too? Or will we lose all capability of accessing the admin account?
  2. Do I need to keep the password the same on the "admin" or "master" account?
  3. I have made different email accounts, using my admin account. I'm concerned that I will lose access if that fails. I've already changed 3 of my other accounts that I created using my master account. 2 of them work; the other 1 keeps failing. They work in the browser, but 1 of them will not work with my Thunderbird client. All the configs are the same. I don't know why 1 keeps failing.

Each account is independent of each other, there is no official master or sub email account as it was previously as each email account is associated with it's own Spectrum ID for access via spectrum.net. Resetting the password for one has no effect on any other ID's. The Spectrum ID's do have roles available to assign, primary, admin or standard to determine their level of account access only, not any hierarchy of one email account over another.

    Mo_5,

Thank you for the response. So, this means I should also change the password on ALL my accounts, even the one originally assigned as the admin or master, correct?
When I first started email, there was a main acct, and I logged into that and created the other email ID's, and the main one had more controls than the others.
I am supposed to change that one too, right?

    Mo_S,

That all makes sense, but what doesn't make sense, is why would 1 out of the 3 email accounts stop working on the webmail portal and desktop client? The other 2 still work after the password change.
