Spectrum TV
I have two home locations and two separate accounts with Spectrum
Home 1 - internet and 2 phones
Home 2 - internet and Spectrum TV
I want to be able to watch Spectrum TV at home 1 and have tried everything I can find in print. I even ordered and installed the Xumo app at home 1 - but when I open the Home 1 home site and select the Spectrum TV app - nothing loads. I have tried 2 Xumo devices so far. Same result.
I also tried my Roku at home 1 - but it too did not allow the Spectrum TV app to load. It opens but it has no data - categories displays but no channels etc…
HELP!!
Also, I was not prompted to put my User name and Password to view Spectrum TV at home 1. Just took me through the steps to install Xumo.

@JulesK,
The response from @Satch is essentially correct. The devices use the internet connection to authenticate the video package and attempt auto login for TV app access. It will recognize when you're on your home network or away from home and enable your video service based on that location. Since that account has no TV service, the auto login won't provide you any TV service as it's using that accounts internet service to verify a TV package when none exists.
Using your login from your other account that does subscribe to TV service is possible, but you would only have a limited, out of home lineup available to view after you've manually logged in. There is also a limit of 3 instances of the Spectrum TV app when away from home, and on devices such as Roku, this is limited to 1.
To manually log in, you'd need to go to the settings menu (gear icon) within the app and sign out, then sign in with the ID associated with the account that subscribes to TV service.
If you want a full lineup, the only option would be to subscribe to TV service at the location you're trying to view it.2

Welcome @JulesK!
If I am reading your above example correctly, the problem is that Home 1 needs a Spectrum TV plan. You will need to call customer care to pick a package and activate that plan. The equipment by itself won't give you TV, you have to pick a package:
Here are Spectrum TV packages to help you review and choose:
https://www.spectrum.com/cable-tv/plans
After you pick a plan, you already have your equipment, (XUMO at home one) so you will than need to activate your XUMO to your plan. Remote Internet access for watching takes about 48 hours from the time the home plan is activated.

I was told I could watch Spectrum TV at home #1 by using home #2 sign on. I don't want to pay for the service I should be able to access via the internet on my home #1 TV just like I can on my computer or phone. At least that is what I was told.

Ok - following Mo_S recommendation - I signed out - now attempting to sign in - but my user name and password have capital letters and this sign in screen even when I select the ABC button does not change the letter to caps. Now what?

What's up, @JulesK?
It still holds that in order to be able to get a full traditional CATV/streaming TV line up that a CATV/subscription TV would be required. The TV programmers of the stations tell Spectrum (and other host companies) what they can show and how they can show content. Spectrum pays their own residuals to the TV providers, generally in the form of TV/programing contracts which usually last from five to eight years. Spectrum provides the equipment, signals, and lines. The stations do the programs. If the stations tell the company providers, "You need a TV package to view our content in your home" the monthly provider has to go along with that decision.

User names are not case sensitive, so there is no option to capitalize the user name. Once entered and it moves to the password screen, each letter will have a capital option above it when you have it selected, select the letter you want and then go up to select the capital. The ABC option is purely to select alphabetical characters, then next to that is the option for numbers and special characters next to that.
As a reminder, you will not receive the full lineup in the Spectrum TV app you would see at the home where you're subscribed to TV service. It will be limited to what is available when away from home. You may be able to use individual TV apps to access content as well for any channels you subscribe to.1 -
Thank you I did get access now - and we are only 2 hours from each of our homes so the line up is sufficient. Might be a good idea to put some user info on the password screen to assist in how to get a capital letter to be selected. It is not intuitive so needs some word guidance.
