rangers broadcasts

2X in the last week the rangers were on ch 326 (less convenient to tune to, since I can't just scroll up a few pages, aft i chk ch 27) and the Islanders on 48. Why did the rangers get the lowest priority twice? Spectrum is mainly a city (rangers) service and the Isles are LI (Nassau). At worst, they should rotate and at least once should have been on ch 48. I guess basketball is more popular as the Knicks got ch 27 both times. or should it be the hockey game that starts first gets ch 48 if 27 is taken? The rangers game started the same time or earlier both days so I don't see that reason. Pls explain this disfavoring of the rangers. The Devils were getting a lower channel position often also. Diff state, NJ not NY. Does it have to do with the teams paying you? I believe it happened a number of times last season too. Like at least 5 times that I can remember, maybe a lot more. Bad enuf we lost our announcer and national games aren't called from the home point of view. Makes watching less pleasant. But there's nothing you can do abt that.

Good Evening @TECHLORD and welcome to the Spectrum Community!

With all TV provider monthly vendors, the owners of the stations, in conjunction with the respective sports teams determine program placements. Spectrum has no control over channel programing. Neither do the other monthly cable vendors, streaming vendors, or apps.

Spectrum provides the equipment for service transmission, the signals, and the cable lines. Programing issues would have to be taken up with the stations and or sports teams through their social media contacts.
