CC not working on Xumo Box / Spectrum App
My CC settings never worked as expected. It’s impossible for me to read the CC with that small and pixelated font, always shown in three small and thin horizontal lines in the screen. I've tried everything. Spectrum App itself is too basic and doesn’t have any customizable CC menu options. XUMO box is customizable but Spectrum App overrides any Xumo setting, so I’m stuck here with practically unreadable CC. By the number of closed old posts about it I’m guessing the provider does not have an effective solution for this.

Welcome to our community platform and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, as we know how important the closed captions feature can be and your feedback is important. You can absolutely customize the closed captions in the settings for the Xumo, but unfortunately our Spectrum TV app does not have the ability to customize the closed captions via the Xumo device. I can absolutely ensure this suggestion is reviewed for future updates, but in the meantime, you can absolutely customize the closed captions on the television itself. Those settings will carry over to any app that you use, for any connected device. Please know that we are here to assist you 24/7 and if further assistance is needed, please let us know.
