Is the new Royals.TV for the Kansas City Royals channel 305?
The Kansas City Royals games are now going to Royals.TV. Does Spectrum provide this channel?
This entry is in the guide now for my subscription:
ROYL 305 Royals Baseball Sign-off
When the season starts, I assume the scheduled games will show up if this is Royals.TV.
I assume that I won't have to pay the $99.00 charge that Royals.TV requires. Or do I still have to pay even though it is now in the Spectrum Guide.
I found this on the web:
"For the 2026 season, Kansas City Royals games are available on Spectrum via the new Royals.TV channel, replacing FanDuel Sports Network (formerly Bally Sports). The channel is listed as 318 in some Kansas City, NE, and KS areas, or 824 for other Spectrum regions. It is also accessible via direct-to-consumer streaming on the MLB app."
I don't use Spectrum Internet which shouldn't be a problem if channel 305 is in the Guide.

Hello @Gort,
If the channel is already listed in the guide and you subscribed to that package (and the previous versions of it,) (Fan Duel/ Bally Sports) you would get those games through Spectrum at no additional charge.
There might be some out-of-market games that could be on Subscription-based channels like MLB/Extra Innings. Those games would be determined by the Kansas City Royals and MKB, which Spectrum has no control over broadcasting or not, That decision always lies with the team/MLB contracts.
But as long as the channel is in your CATV/Streaming TV package, and it's in the guide, you will get the games that KCR puts on that channel.

If it is lit up and it is included in your subscription then i think you would see anything other than e.g. "unavailable" or "unsubscribed" on that channel, and here you may find out which games, per month, to Watch on: Royals.TV:

Good Evening,
Seeing this below
ROYL 305 Royals Baseball Sign-off
This should be an indication of a placeholder that is in the guide until the season begins.
If you have your Guide Filtering to Subscribed channels, showing what's in your package and the channel is there, you will get that channel.
