YES Network issue

Why am I getting a message saying it is not available in my area when I live in New York? Right now I’m trying to watch the replay of the game, and it’s showing something else(Hideki Matsui Yankeeography) even though the guide says the game should be on. When I go to the Gotham App, the game is on. Seems to be a Spectrum/YES issue.
Will we be getting a refund?

    Good Morning!

I was told that the programing decisions for all content are at the discretion of the station management, not the TV/streaming vendor. This is true with any provider. The provider provides the equipment, the signals, and the lines. Station management and in the case of the sports franchises, have the final say on programing.

If you have the YES network and you can't see the Yankees games on Spectrum, you should direct this justified concern to the New York Yankees directly through their social media outlets.

I was trying to watch the NY Yankees game tonight on YES on my cable box, however YES says that the programming isn’t available in our area. I live in the Yankees tv territory, so blackout shouldn’t be an issue. I was wondering if Spectrum was airing the national feed instead of the local feed

Yes, I’m having the same issue. It was working this morning (4/1) , then switched from the replay of last nights game in the 7th inning to the Hideki Matsui Yankeeography. I then checked on the Gotham App and the game was still on. Obviously an issue between YES and Spectrum.

I also had the problem of not being able to watch the Yankee game last the message saying it was not available in my area. My area is in New York so that is very weird. I have seen in other places that there is a problem with Spectrum and Comcast regarding the showing of the Yankee games I need some clarity on this issue because if I am not going to get the Yankee I will probably cancel my Spectrum TV subscription

I agree, the only reason I haven't canceled Spectrum is so that I can get the Yankee games. I'm already paying $300 for internet and cable and now they want $10 more so I can watch the games. I love the explanation we got when we called. "You still can get the YES network, just not the games." What's the point? This is just robbery. I'm going to cancel and get FUBI which carries the games. for less than half the price. Goodbye Spectrum.
