How do I access my rr email?
the email has been reformatted. The links are not highlighted and underlined so I am unable to use them.

Never got any messages about our rr emails being deleted or whatever you want to call it. We can not retrieve anything in them. This is so disappointing as some had very important information in folders we had saved. I tried putting the email addresses into another server. One works but the others won't. Those are the ones I really need. If I had know these email were going to be deleted or faded out I would have done something. The worked at the beginning of the week March 23, 2026 and by Wednesday we couldn't get into them. UGH

Roadrunner email accounts associated with active accounts were not deleted, we only stopped providing email service to new customers. You should be able to sign in at Spectrum.net using the email address as the username, if you haven't already reset your password please select the "Forgot username or password?" option to do that.

It won't let me do that. I have tried everything. It just signed me up for a spectrum email. We have had RR for many years. :(

Reviewing all of your email accounts that are active, only one has had the password reset recently. You have both nycap.rr.com domains and spectrum.net. You need to enter the full email address with the domain name and then the associated email password at spectrum.net.
If you're having an issue accessing any one of them, are you receiving any error message?0 -

@happyhappy29 both email accounts are active and assigned to your account, you'd need to enter the full email address with nycap.rr.com as the user and then the email password. If it fails saying the information doesn't match, the password would need reset. Neither is showing a password reset completed.

Can you send me the link where I'm suppose to do all this. I have tried the spectrum.net where my account is and it doesn't work. I'm just trying to get important stuff that are in those emails.

The access to the email is on www.spectrum.net. If you are already logged into the site with another account then it may fail to log you in. Make sure you sign out of your main Spectrum account before you attempt to login. You can also try using a different browser to log in with the email.
Some devices come with a screen capture app that you can use. If you do not have one then you can search for one in an app store or on google. When you get an error message, obtain the screenshot and use any edit features of the app to hide your personal information. You can then send us a copy of the screenshot you obtained so we can see what happened.

Tried a different browser and still can't sign in with the other emails. I have done everything that you have suggested. This shouldn't be that hard if it's still there. I guess this is a lost cause because I have tried everything to get into them. I'm so disappointed and discouraged over this whole thing. I will try to get a screenshot. I'm trying to do this on my laptop. I don't think that should matter signing in though.

- 1. Have you tried resetting the password?
- 2. Are you logging out of spectrum.net and logging back in using the email as the username and the password for the specific email you are trying to access, then going to "check email"

Okay, I was about to get into one account on my phone but now I can't. If I was to put those email address into Thunderbird or outlook what settings should I use for server?

I see one of the accounts was accessed this morning, neither is showing a password reset. It would be helpful if we're able to see any errors you're receiving or what's happening when you attempt login. Our support page lists email server settings that can be used for third party mail clients, but we'd still want to make sure you can access emails directly as we can't support third party clients.0 -
Okay, I think I got it! Thank you for all your help. It is so appreciated. My husband has stage 4 kidney cancer and those folders held a lot of important information.
