Does anyone know of a way to override the weather warning screens on Spectrum cable tv? I used to be able to channel up then down on the Spectrum remote and go immediately back to live programming but that no longer does the trick. I called tech support and they came back with pressing the Exit button on the remote followed by the channel up and then channel down but that doesn’t work either. I understand that the alerts are important, but because such a large geographic area is covered, most of the alerts aren’t pertinent and when they are the locked screen is usually interrupting our tracking of the storms from the local weather forecasters.
