Why does the box update have NO reminders?

We used the channel reminder ALL THE TIME....got our boxes updated and now there is NO REMINDER...seems that's not an update but a back slide!! Why would something, that I feel sure was used by a lot of people, be removed?? Pls consider putting the reminder back on!
