Sports Scores Display in Guide Banner

Why oh why do sports scores appear in the Banner of the Guide when the live even channel is selected! I always record sporting events, but was not too happy when while my game was taping, I was scrolling through the guide to find another game to watch live, as I scrolled to/over the channel my game was taping on - OH NOT!! There was the score displaying in the banner! Ruined the game for me!

Do the software folks at Spectrum not understand the concept of 'spoiler'!

This may be a feature that is acceptable to some (not sports fans I wouldn't think) so at the very least there should be a setting option that will allow this featur to be turned OFF!

Am I the only one who thinks this is an issue?
