Is there an outage or an issue with my cable box?

There diesnt seem to be a signal. The power light doesnt come on. I unplugged everything and plugged it back in but it didnt help

    My early indications are that it could be the box, Contact Spectrum to try to get it going remotely, If that fails, a service call may be needed.

    Same for me but is the charging cord failure on my DVR 8742HDC DVR box. I borrowed a cord from a neighbor and my box worked!! You may wish to try that first. Now to see if I can get a working charging cord instead of just being given a new box. New boxes have awful functions for the Guide...more steps to complete tasks than old boxes, can't look back in time on Guide for current day, etc.

    I remember that the older guide boxes have detachable cords! Yea, if your box has that, try that first. The new guide and no clock boxes are harder to adjust to using.
