Getting Error Message On WBBZ Channel Using Spectrum TV App
Is there a problem between WBBZ & Spectrum? This past week there's been sporadic pixelation & various error messages (can't remember the error number). The past 2 days all I get is this error message: "This channel is currently experiencing technical difficulties. We are working with the provider to help resolve this issue.". This happens using the app on my Windows PC internet browser & on my Roku steaming device, so it does not appear to be related to Roku.

Hi & welcome!
The app authenticates using the modem on your account. Please restart the modem and delete and reinstall the app. You may also need to restart the Roku from the settings menu. Let us know if this helps.

I'm using my own WiFi modem. Also, I power down my power strips that are connected to my Spectrum internet modem, WiFi modem, computer, and TV every night and turn them on the next day. I get the same error message when using
on my internet browser. Yesterday I did remove the ROKU Spectrum TV app and reinstalled it and did a ROKU reset. I get the error today on my internet browser & TV.0 -
Is it just the one channel giving an error code, or do you get an error with other channels as well?

I only get the error message on the WBBZ channel. All other channels I watch are OK.

Thanks. What channel number do you use to access WBBZ on the app?

Channel 5 & also the duplicate channel 1230.

Thanks. Looking at the channels website: WBBZ-TV, it looks like the channel moved to an all over the air format while they work on an issue with the digital path they use to broadcast. Due to the degraded signal, it appears we have removed the channel until it is fixed. More information can be found on their Facebook page (WBBZ TV | Buffalo's Buzz), which I imagine will be updated once the issue is resolved.

Thanks! I'm not on Facebook. I did visit the website & could not find any mention of the problem (not that I could see at least). My OTA antenna cannot pick up the station & I have an amplified one on order. Thanks again!

You're welcome! The link to the Facebook page should be able to be accessed without an account, just to check for updates. I am also seeing a "Contact Us" link on the channels webpage, where they may be able to provide you with updates.
Let us know if we can help with anything else.
