Voicemail notofications

On an iPhone, how do I recieve a notification that I have a voicemail. Currently I have to call in using my 4-digit code and listen to alll the prompts. A visual notification would be ideal, but cant seem to find that in settings?

    Hi & welcome!

    Are you referring to Mobile voicemail? Do you have the phone icon on your home screen? There should be a notification for callas and voicemails on the phone icon. You probably also want to ensure that notifications are enabled in settings.
