Some ads have no sound

This is not a question, just feedback. Watching On Demand program on BBC America (Attenborough's Global Adventure, if it matters), and some of the ads do not have sound. This is on Apple TV and iPad. The lack of sound is not really a problem, but I do wonder if it might be indicative of other problems. Do not know if this happens elsewhere because I rarely use On Demand.

    Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry this is happening. Are you noticing any picture quality issues or is this only impacting the audio? Are you noticing this while connected to your home network or while away from your home? -Lyn

    it is only the sound on some, but not all, ads.I have noted that ads for AMC and BBC America shows are fine, as well as some others, although I don't have specific sponsors. It is on my home network, and this is the only anomaly I have noticed.

    Can you provide for the community an example of two ads where the sound goes out, and also the season number and episode number for " Attenborough's Global Adventure" on BBC on Demand where this occurs?

    Currently watching episode 3 (only 1 season), and these are the ads I’ve seen, and their sound status:

    Pistachios ad OK
    Taco Bell OK
    Fiji Water OK
    Startout NO SOUND
    StepUp NO SOUND
    Orphan Black Echos (AMC show) OK
    Laureus [Sport for good] NO SOUND
    Orphan Black Echos OK

    It has been an issue in all episodes of this show, but I have not watched any others.

    Have you rebooted your equipment? Including a restart of your modem? Have you reinstalled the Spectrum app, and applied any software updates? I would recommend trying these things and seeing if the sound problem with commercials is still there. Report back.

    Actually, by chance there was a power outage today, so all equipment was rebooted; the issue still exists. As for reinstalling the Spectrum TV app, this is on both Apple TV and my iPad—extremely unlikely that both would fail in the same way, so I didn’t even try that.

    For whatever reason, it does seem to be only with On Demand programs on BBC America, and not necessarily all of them. Since viewing the program content is not affected, I don’t feel any further investigation is needed.
