Several things to check. I will start with the basics and do a list:

Before I start the list- How are you accessing cable TV services? Cable box or DVR? XUMO Streaming Box or other streaming device? (Such as the Spectrum TV App.) PC or Mobile Device, such as a Smart Phone?

Here is the Check List for HD Programing on a TV with a Cable Box:

1.) Make sure you have an HD TV.

2.) Make sure you have HDMI cable.

3.) Using your TV remote (not cable box remote), check your video settings on your TV. Screen size needs to be 16x9. Video Resolution should be set to the highest output the TV supports.

4.) Using your Spectrum cable remote (If you have a Spectrum cable box or DVR,) check the settings on your box. Set your Output Resolution to the highest setting on your box. Screen size needs to be 16x9.

5.) If you have a Smart TV, hold down the power button on your TV remote (not your cable remote), do and wait till the TV turns off and the logo for the Smart TV is showing, release the button.

6.) Finally, reboot your cable box.

    Some questions:

1.) Is this a new TV or new video service from Spectrum?

2.) If not, when did this start?

3.) Any changes to the cable TV portion of your account in recent past?
