Why is Xumo Needed?

Under 'Experience Spectrum TV' it says 'no equipment to install'. Why then is Xumo needed?

    Thank you for reaching out to us about our Streaming services. Our Xumo box is not required to have access to our Streaming App. This option would take place of things like a ROKU. We also offer full support with this option. Learn more about Xumo -Lyn
