Receiver box issue

I had an outage earlier today and was told that cable would be restored by 8:30pm this evening. My receiver box will not turn on and there’s no outage in my area anymore. What is the issue?

    Welcome!

    Try turning off the box and TV. Unplug the box or turn off your surge protector for one minute. Power back up the box by plugging it back in ti the wall or turning on your surge protector.

    If that doesn't work, try rebooting your box online through "My account" settings. What error message do you see on the TV or box itself? If the online activation does not work, call Spectrum to have them send refresh signals to the box. If that doesn't work, you will need a service call.
