Spectrum Cloud DVR Issue

My Cloud DVR is also malfunctioning again, particularly when trying to forward through ads. I have recordings that just stop and show a black screen with a loading "wheel of death". Sometimes I can exit the app and have more success while other times the same problem keeps occurring in the same spot. Last night, a program would finally play but the audio kept cutting out at consistent intervals. I also had an episode for a series recording not record. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my Apple TV. All of my systems are updated and my Internet speeds are fine. All other apps such as Netflix, Prime, etc. stream fine. It is clearly an issue with Cloud DVR on the Spectrum end. Spectrum needs to make this product work consistently or I need to find a different service.

Currently, there are no widespread issues being reported with the Spectrum TV app or Cloud DVR. The issue you describe is related to connectivity. I was able to locate your account and I can see that there are connection errors with your devices. Since the Spectrum TV app streams live TV, it can be more sensitive to fluctuations than other apps like Netflix, which streams content that is pre-buffered.
Your modem has been online for 66 days. A good place to start is to restart the modem associated with the account. After that, you will want to reinstall the Spectrum TV app and try restarting the devices from the settings menu. If you are still seeing an issue after completing those steps, let us know.
