Movies Channel Listings Data Incorrect on Both Spectrum.net and Cable Box but Only After 9PM (CST)
Hey Guys,
I noticed this last night. (January 10, 2025) I think Neilson is pushing out the wrong guide data to only one channel that is not correct both on the cable box guide and on the online guide at Spectrum.Net. after 9PM (CST) The channel is Movies! (997) in Metro Wisconsin (zip 53045.) It started last night. It is only on the Movie's Channel (997) and it is only after 9PM (CST) when it starts.
Go to Movies! Channel website and punch in the zip code for Metro Wisconsin and 53045 for the zip code with Spectrum as the provider note the following:
1.) The Movie's Channel is showing the correct schedule information at all times.
2.) However, if you go to Spectrum.net, enter the zip code (53045) you will see that the movie information is not correct once 9PM rolls around.
I don't want to reboot yet because I hate rebooting, and as this is also on the online version at Spectrum.net, I think this is a listings error. If you scroll further at Spectrum.net using the 53045 zip code. you will find that "The Boys From Brazil" shows on Movies! at 11:55pm today (January 11). The Boys from Brazil was on last night at that time when tuned to the Movies channel. but the movie in the guide was a different name, and the movie at Spectrum.net was the same incorrect movie name that was in the Spectrum guide.
I am going to wait and see if this resolves on its own. Like I said it is only with Movies channel after 9PM when the data between the Movies! Channel website and Spectrum Guide and Spectrum.net's data for Movies! channel is no longer synced.
Last night that incorrect movie that I can't remember the name of it was on from 7:00 PM- 3:00AM and the Spectrum Guide as well as Spectrum.net listings showed this movie as an 8-hour film, so I knew that something was wrong with the listings at that time. Than at 3AM. the movie was shown replayed from like 3AM-5AM (approximately) This was the movie's normal running time.
